To the editor:
Before people go into the voting booth this election, hopefully they consider how they feel about some of the issues that have been front and center of a lot of the political ads on tv.
We have listed the position that Democrats are taking on a number of prominent issues facing Iowans.
If you are for fully funded public schools and against vouchers;
If you are for women having the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions;
If you are for LBGTQ rights;
If you want to legalize marijuana;
If you want everyone doing their part in saving our planet;
If you want sensible gun laws;
If you want to re-establish collective bargaining in Iowa;
If you support law enforcement;
If you want to keep our affordable health care and Social Security;
If you want to lower your prescription costs;
If you want more emphasis put on mental health in Iowa;
If you want to maintain our democracy;
VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS ON NOVEMBER 8, 2022!
