It was a tough post-season loss for the Raiderettes last Wednesday, falling in three close sets to the Southwest Valley Timberwolves.
It was the third meeting between the two Pride of Iowa teams this season, with Southwest Valley victorious in the previous two by scores of 3-1 and 3-0.
In this post-season matchup, Southwest Valley won by scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-17.
The Raiderettes saw Kaylie Shields lead the team in assists with 18 and Linsie Barnes led in kills with six.
Kacee Klommhaus recorded five kills on the night, as well.
The Raiderettes returned the Southwest Valley kill attempts, recording 38 digs on the night, led by Tegan Streit who had 13, while Olivia Huntington stayed busy with 11.
Out of the teams six blocks, Klommhaus recorded three and Hayden Ruggles also had three.
It was a good serving night for the Raiderettes as well, successful on 57-of-61, with seven aces.
Shields led the servers, going 17-for-17 with three aces on the night.
The Raiderettes end the season with a record of 9-15.
