Rebecca Ann Hayden

Rebecca Ann Hayden, daughter of Harvey John & Mary Lou (Petrie) Nicholson, was born April 7, 1960, at Des Moines, Iowa.
Becky grew up in Indianola, Iowa. After high school, she was a nurse’s aide for several years in nursing homes and other places of health care. Becky also worked at various other jobs over the years. Rebecca was united in marriage to Gregory Gail Hayden. To this marriage was born 2 sons: Travis Wayne and Carl Richard.
Becky and her family have lived in Mount Ayr for the past several years. She liked to crochet and work on puzzle books. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Becky passed away August 21, 2023, at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr after a lingering illness. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Greg of Mount Ayr; sons Travis & Carl; grandson Kyle Hayden; brother Daniel Nicholson; other relatives and friends
Rebecca has been cremated and burial will be at a later date in the Indian Valley Cemetery in Indianola.
Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr assisted the family.
