Larry Lincoln Coulson

Larry Lincoln Coulson was born on December 5, 1945, near Mount Ayr, Iowa. Larry was the oldest son of Cecil and Neva (Wilson) Coulson. He passed away September 14, 2023, in Centerville, Iowa at the age of 77 years.
From birth, Larry had only minimal cognitive abilities, needing constant care, forcing his parents to place him in the Glenwood Resource Center at age 8. Larry lived there until it closed in 2022 and then moved to the Woodward Resource Center until a few days before his death.
Left to remember Larry are his three brothers, Dan (Carol) Coulson and Jim (Cathy) Coulson, both of Mount Ayr and Robert (Karen) Coulson of Weatherby Lake, Missouri, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Glenwood and Woodward Resource Centers’ current and former staff for their dedicated care throughout these many years.
Private graveside services were held Sunday, September 17, 2023, in Rose Hill Cemetery. Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr was in charge of the arrangements.
