Thanks the community

To the editor:
On behalf of Madalynn Stewart’s family, our heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love, prayers, and generosity of so many communities at our time of loss and grief.
As Madalynn’s grandmother, our family experienced compassion, friendship, and amazing support as we gathered in Mount. Ayr to celebrate Maddie’s life. The support was wide ranging from meals, to joyful distractions, to visits as our family endured long waits at the hospital.
Mount Ayr and the surrounding communities should be proud of friendship and support they offer to members of their community during times of sorrow.
Our family was welcomed with open arms last July and you continue to welcome Maddie’s grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins each time we visit.
