JACQUELINE SUE DAVIS
Jacqueline (Jacque) Sue Davis, 66 of Weeping Water, Nebraska, passed away on April 14, 2024. She was born on July 16, 1957, in Lee Summit Missouri to Donald and Darlene Bear.
On October 18, 1975, she married Arthur William Davis in Kellerton, Iowa. Jacque worked as a para-professional at Heartland Behavioral School and Millard South High School. She was an active member with the Weeping Water Public School Booster Club, the Limestone Day Committee, and Post 237 Women’s Auxiliary. She was a mentor to thousands of young military families and students. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and grandsons.
She is survived by her husband, Art, and by her children: Andrew (Tonya), Matthew (Jessica), and Benjamin (Angela); Grandchildren: Cooper and Easton. Siblings: Jodi Angus and Dan Bear; Sisters-in-law: Marty Davis, Irene Doyle; Special Sister Virginia Harris (Mark); and many family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, and grandparents.
Visitation services will be held on Wednesday April 17 from 1 p.m to 8 p.m, at Hammons Family Funeral Services, 207 West H Street, Weeping Water NE Family members will greet friends from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. Internment will be held on Thursday, April 18 at 11 a.m. at Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Road, Omaha NE 68138.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family asks for donations to be made to the Weeping Water Public School Booster Club in Jacque’s name.
