JuLee Renee Caldwell

JuLee Renee Caldwell, age 62, of Creston, Iowa formerly of Mount Ayr, Iowa was born July 26, 1961, in Albany, Missouri. She was the oldest of 6 children. JuLee graduated from Mount Ayr Community High School in 1979.
She married Roger Johnson on July 29, 1979. They had 2 children, Jenni and Joshua. JuLee later had a close relationship with Mark Bagley, and they remained friends until her passing.
Her favorite past times were cooking and bingo, and she loved spending time with family and close friends. JuLee loved watching her grandchildren grow and watching HGTV. She also had a good eye for interior design. JuLee was strong-minded and opinionated, and she had a very contagious laugh.
JuLee accepted the Lord early in life and was baptized. Later in life her focal point became making sure others had also accepted Christ as their Savior.
JuLee passed away suddenly on June 19, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Mary Judith; grandparents Curtis and Vera Seat; and stepbrother Jake Jones.
She is survived by her children Jenni Hill (Nathan), Joshua Johnson (Anna); siblings Monica Caldwell Peterson, Troy Caldwell (Kimber), Tawnia Caldwell Richards, Melissa England, and Eric Caldwell; stepbrothers Kevin Jones and Brian Jones; aunts and uncles including Dave and Mary Seat; grandchildren Braxton, Tegan, and Weston Hill, Cooper, Calob, Jacob, Isaiah, and Serenity Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

JuLee has been cremated and a service will be held at a later date. Memorials are to the family. Armstrong Funeral Home is caring for JuLee’s family.
