To the editor:
Mack Sickels, in his letter to the Record News issue of the past week, suggested the Mount Ayr Public Library should be renamed the Joe Biden Presidential Library, apparently because Mr. Sickels feels the library in Mount Ayr hold several left leaning books on its shelves.
In my opinion, this most recent suggestion by Mr. Sickels makes as much sense as the many other suggestions he has made or the “information” he has shared.
I doubt he even considered the fact (based on his own words in the letter), that any library in the world and I do mean any library, could be considered as left leaning IF there were more books on the left side of a shelf than on the right side of the same shelf and the reverse would hold true for any library.
