One used to be able to hold some confidence in those whom a president chose for cabinet or other high-level positions in their administration.
After following part of the Donald Trump cabinet confirmation hearings, I think it likely each nominee will have the same level of integrity as those who have already been questioned, and it isn’t likely any of them will follow what a wise man once said: “You are obligated to disobey if you receive an order which is immoral or illegal.”
I think words such as command, request, and wish or require, if used in the same context as “order”, hold the same meaning and doubt there will be any one in a high-level position in the upcoming Trump administration who realize how very closely they appear (in my opinion) to resemble the individuals who staffed the German government from 1933 through the first four months of 1945,
