Zachary Lavon Bounds
Zachary Lavon Bounds was born November 4, 2003, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa to Robbin Michelle (Creveling) and Eric Dean Bounds. In his teen years he worked for Larry Bunker as a farm hand. Zach graduated from Worth County R-lll School District in 2022. After school he worked as a carpenter for Hudson Construction and most recently for Kobbe Construction.
Zach lived life to the fullest, always ensuring his loved ones knew how much they meant to him. Whether working on vehicles, shooting guns, or spending time with friends and family, Zach was constantly surrounded by those he cared about. He had a special love for his parents, grandparents, brothers, and sisters. He was a great uncle to his growing group of nieces and nephews. Zach also cherished his many friends and cousins, often hanging out and sharing laughs with them. He will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, kind heart, and deep compassion. Zach had the rare gift of bringing joy to everyone around him. His spirit will live on through the many happy memories he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Zach passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by great grandparents: Marion (Naomi) Creveling and Mabel (Henry) Webb; grandpa Mike Lynch; great uncles Sam Baker and Larry Baker.
Zach leaves behind many loved ones: his parents Robbin Creveling and Eric (Carissa) Bounds; grandparents Bob (Liz) Creveling, Ruth Lynch, Mark (Margaret) Bounds and Jeff (Jane) Roach; siblings Bobby (Cassidy) Hepner, Chelsi Hepner, Harley Mittelstedt, Cassandra Strubberg, Leann Mittelsedt, Eric Ritchie and Savannah Teague; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 17, 2025, at the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri. Mike Mosier officiated the services. The burial was at the Kirk Cemetery in Allendale, Missouri.
