The City-School Election is less than a month away, so mark your calendars with these important dates and deadlines!
October 15: Start of in-person absentee voting, and first day that absentee ballots start being mailed.
October 20: Last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed, and last day to register to vote online or by mail. Remember, you can still register to vote or update your registration status at the polls on Election Day—Iowa has same day registration.
November 3: Last day of in-person absentee voting at your local county auditor’s office or satellite voting location. Find your county auditor here.
November 4: City-School Election Day! Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Find your polling place here. Absentee ballots must be returned by the time polls close at 8 p.m.
