MOUNT AYR, Iowa — The Mount Air golf teams are playing well right night. Both teams had meet wins.
The Mount Ayr boys won a three-team meet with Lenox and Bedford. Mount Ayr was led by meet medalist Jaxson Greene with a score of 38 while Avery Wolfe was the runner-up medalist with a score of 39. Lenox was led by Cash Brammer with a score of 40 and Adrian Schlapia with a score of 40. Bedford was led by Traegan Hensley with a score of 48.
Other Mount Ayr Scores were Tanner Streit 40, Drew Graham 43, Tytan Gourley 44 and Adler Reed 45.
The Raiderettes made it a clean sweep for Mount Ayr winning their meet with a team score of 193. Second place went to Sidney with a score of 210. Mount Ayr’s Jaylee Shaffer led all girls with a low round of 32 to win the meet. Other Mount Ayr scores were Izzy Gilbertson 52, Abby Larson 53, Claire Routh 56, Alyssa Doolittle 60 and Dallas Newton 61. Sidney was led by runner-up medalist Alyssa Dowling with a score of 43.
