At the special election held on the day of the primary election, Monday, the proposition of issuing bonds in the sum of $150,000 for the purpose of building and equiping a court house for Ringgold C ounty carried by a majority of 592 votes, 2295 votes being cast in favor of the proposition and 1703 against, according to the unofficial canvass.
This was the fifth time the proposition of issuing bonds was submitted to the voters since the old court house was condemned in 1921, at each election the proposition being defeated by a small margin.
