MOUNT AYR, Iowa — The recently wrapped up season by the Mount Ayr baseball team was one where they reached the district final round for the second straight season. The solid season saw the Raiders have six players named to the 2026 Pride of Iowa Conference all-conference list. They were Rowan Sackett, Adler Reed, Drew Graham, Jaxsen Walter, Hayes Stogdill and Tyler Still.
First team picks were Sackett at infield and Reed as one of two first team utility picks.
Sackett batted .515 with 17 hits, 15 RBI and 14 runs scored. Reed was second in batting average in POI games with an average of .576. He was tied for third in home runs with two. Reed also had 19 hits, nine RBI and six doubles.
Two Mount Ayr pitchers were named to the second team in Graham and Walter. Stogdill was also named to the second team infield.
Graham had an ERA of 0.98 in six games with a 2-2 record in 21 and 1/3 innings with 34 strikeouts and 13 walks. Graham also batted .472 with 17 hits, a home run and 11 RBI. Walter had an ERA of 2.83 in five games with a 2-0 record in 17 and 1/3 innings. He struck out 17 and walked 14. Walter batted .343 with 12 hits, two home runs and 12 RBI.
Stogdill batted .400 with 12 hits, 19 runs and four RBI. Still was an honorable mention selection who batted .242 with eight hits.
