Mount Ayr Senior Ryce Reynolds competed this past weekend in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the Indoor Arkansas Razorback H.S. Invitational representing the XLR8 Iowa track team in the Boys 400m.
Over 300 entries from all over the country signed up for the Boys 400M with prelims firing off at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Reynolds placed first in his heat with a time of 49.34 and secured a spot in the fast heat of finals at 7:00 p.m. After the dust settled from over 50 preliminary heats and 2 heats of finals, Ryce earned a spot on the podium placing third (49.86) in an incredibly talented field.
Keayari Thompson (Houston, TX) the winner is currently the #2 Ranked H.S. 400 runner in the US.
