The Mount Ayr cross-country teams traveled to Stuart on October 3 for their second meet of the week.
The Mount Ayr girl’s team had a pair of top-20 finishers at the meet. Ryley Greenwell was 15th in a time of 24:28 while teammate Ashlyn Byer was 18th in 25:21. Van Meter won the meet with 16 points while Colfax-Mingo was the runner-up with 46 points.
On the boy’s side, Ankeny Christian won the meet with 18 points. Van Meter was second with 43 points. Braylon Greenwell placed in the top 20 with a 20th place finish in 19:47. Other Raider finishes were Michael Adkisson 37th in 22:10 and Rolland Adkisson 52nd in 25:52.
