MOUNT AYR, Iowa — The Mount Ayr golf teams each picked up meet wins last week. The Mount Ayr girls won by a landslide 210 to 300 over Wayne, while the Raider boys won a triangular meet over Melcher-Dallas and Wayne.
On the boy’s side Mount had the winning score of the three-team meet scoring a team low score of 167. Melcher-Dallas was the runner-up team with a score of 189 while Wayne was third with a score of 192.
Mount Ayr swept the top honors with Drew Graham winning medalist honors and Jaxson Greene taking the runner-up medalist. Other Mount Ayr scores were Tytan Gourley 42, Avery Wolfe 45, Tanner Streit 47 and Nathan Rusk 51.
Like the boys team, the Mount Ayr girls had the top-2 scores. Jaylee Shaffer was the medalist with a score of 35 while teammate Izzy Gilbertson was the runner-up after shooting a score of 51.
Other Raiderette scores were Claire Routh 60, Abby Larson 64, Alyssa Doolittle 74 and Dallas Newton 76
