Milo George McQuigg
Milo George McQuigg, son of Blanche and William McQuigg, was born June 23, 1911, in Redding, Iowa, and passed away June 25, 1960 at the age of 49 years and two days.
On September 2, 1939 he was united in marriage to Hazel Fern Davis, and to this union a daughter, Karen Sue, was born. The wife and mother passed away on March 29, 1950. In July, 1953, he was married to Martha Sisk.
At an early age he was baptized in the Methodist Church.
His father and sister, Dorothy Mae, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his widow; daughter, Karen Sue; two step-daughters; his mother, Mrs. Blanche McQuigg of Blockton; a sister, Mrs. Kyle Jones of Grinnell; two brothers, William F. McQuigg and Paul McQuigg of Boulder, Colorado; other relatives and a host of friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Prugh-Dunfee Chapel in Mount Ayr, conducted by the Reverends Gilbert Yerian and Weldon Whitenack. Casketbearers were Carl Quick, Esse Freed, Kenneth Quick, James Griffith, Homer Foster and Gerald Powers. Interment was in the Redding Cemetery.
