Ben J. Little

Ben J. Little, son of Bruce and Barbara Little, was born May 29, 1884, in Harrison County MO., and passed away January 13, 1970, in Westview Acres in Leon, at the age of 85 years, seven months and 15 days.

On January 12, 1914, he was united in marriage with Pearl Coulson, and of this union were born two children.

In 1920 he accepted Christ and was baptized in fellowship of the Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors are his widow, Pearl; two daughters, Mrs. Russell Thomas of Lamoni, Mrs. Lorin Woodward of Leon; one brother Adolph Little of Eagleville, MO; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held January 15, from the Stewart Funeral Home in Lamoni, conducted by the Rev. Orville Rinehart. Casketbearers were, George Cook, Garland Coulson, Blaine Scott, Everett Smith, Wayne Coulson and Coy Cox. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Lamoni.
