Craig Michael Henson July 14, 1950 – November 2, 2009

Craig Michael Henson, son of Orlin Richard and Deloris Arlene (Reitter) Henson, was born July 14, 1950 in Maryville, Missouri. Craig graduated from Bedford high school in 1968. He furthered his education by earning his bachelor’s degree at Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
Craig worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad, which would later become Union Pacific Railroad. Because of his job, he lived in a number of towns in Iowa and Missouri. He retired back to Blockton around 2001. Craig married Pam Morhaus and welcomed into his life Mark as his own son.
Craig loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, golfing and spending time with his friends. Craig had a soft spot in his heart for animals too and always had a dog or two and some cats to feed and care for. He inherited the habit of maintaining a clean home and vehicles and cared for his surroundings.
Craig passed away at his home in Blockton on November 2, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deloris Henson, and his wife, Pam.
Survivors include his father, Orlin Henson of Blockton, Iowa; his brother, Steve Henson and wife Neila of Grimes, Iowa; two nephews, Brett and wife Jacque and Cory Henson and a great-nephew Owen Henson, all of Atlanta, Georgia; son, Mark Morhaus of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, and other relatives and friends.
Services were held at the Christian church, Blockton, Iowa on Thursday, November 5, 2009, with Rev. Scott Marcum officiating. Musicians were Jodi Lawrence and Marvel Melvin.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Walkup, Francis M. Jenning, Chris Constant and Mark Friedman.
Craig was laid at rest in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Blockton.
