Nora Ann Lilienthal July 26, 1943 – November 17, 2009

Nora Ann Lilienthal, daughter of John William and Mallie Belle (Douglas) Moore, was born July 26, 1943 in Lincoln, Illinois. Ann graduated from high school. In 1961 Ann was united in marriage to Richard G. Lilienthal. Over the years, Ann has worked as a waitress, a factory worker and for the last 25 years in the health care field. She was a C.N.A. and worked at the Health Care Center, Clearview Home and Lamoni Manor. Ann was very good at sewing and loved to quilt. She was a good cook who enjoyed movies, loved shopping and always loved her trips to the boat. Ann was a loving grandmother, spoiling them as much as she could, and Ann volunteered with the Boy Scouts. 

Ann was diagnosed with cancer and after a long hard-fought battle, she passed away on November 17, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard of Kellerton, Iowa; her children and grandchildren, Todd Lilienthal and wife Carme of Johnston, Iowa and their children, Christopher, Mitch, Kelsey and Chance, Ken Lilienthal and wife Kim of Kellerton, Iowa and their children, Brandyn, Chelsea and Amber, Lori Clayton and husband Duane of Creston, Iowa and their children, Stephanie, Joey, Brandea, Brock and Brady and Victor Lilienthal and wife Shelly of Mount Ayr, Iowa and their children, Wyatt and Macy; three sisters, Elsie, Pat and Carol, and three brothers, Tom, Bill, and Doug.

A memorial fund has been established in her name to be decided later. Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr was in charge of her arrangements.

Services were held at Maple Row Cemetery in Kellerton, Iowa on Saturday, November 21, 2009 with Rev. Rick Hawkins officiating.

Ann was laid at rest in the Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton.
