CONNIE JEAN RICHARDS JACOBSON

    Connie Jean Richards Jacobson, 66, of Carolina Shores, North Carolina formerly of Lumberton, North Carolina, died Monday, August 6, 2012 at her residence.
    Born in Decatur county, Iowa on November 14, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Earnest and Mary Elizabeth Moore Richards. Connie was raised in Mount Ayr, Iowa and graduated from Mount Ayr Community high school in 1964.
    She was married in Indianola, Iowa to Robert D. Jacobson on June 14, 1974. She was the secretary/paralegal of Robert Jacobson’s law office for over 30 years in Lumberton, North Carolina.
    Miss Connie was preceded in death by siblings, Marian Skinner, Bonnie Pratt, Jane Hutt, Allen Richards and William ‘Bill’ Richards.
    Survivors include her husband, Robert Dale Jacobson; brothers, Robert Richards and Charles Richards, both of Mount Ayr, and sisters, Anne Sickels of Brenham, Texas and Sue Sickels of Indianola, Iowa.
    Funeral services were held  Saturday, August 11, 2012 in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel. Interment followed in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
