KENNETH HEBER DAYLEY

    Kenneth Heber Dayley, 89, husband of the late Welda Greenman Dayley, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Thomson Hood Veterans Center. He was born on August 31, 1922 to the late Heber and Mary Ellen Matthews Dayley in Burley, Idaho.
    Mr. Dayley was the owner and operator of Commercial and Industrial Heating and Air. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II and the Korean War where he received numerous medals and commendations for his service. He was also a professional roller skater.
    Mr. Dayley was a long standing member of South Elkhorn Baptist Church.
    He is survived by his children, Ellen (Jamie) Urquhart, Kerri Gearon and Tim (Karen) Dayley, all of Versailles, Kentucky; his wife, LaDonna Watts Dayley of Lexington;  his grandchildren, Shelley, Kylie and Andy Urquhart, Rachel (David) Greishaber and Jacob and Lyndie Dayley, and his great-grandson, Connor.
    A visitation was held Wednesday, September 26 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, with a graveside service following at Rose Crest Cemetery with Reverend Joe Girdeler officiating.
