STACI LYNN PALMER

    Staci Lynn Palmer was born October 26, 1981 in Creston, Iowa, daughter of Richard L. and Margaret C. (Phillips) Palmer.
    She passed away April 4, 2014, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa, her home for the past 13 years. She was 32.
    Staci grew up in Tingley, Iowa, graduating from Creston high school in 2003. While growing up, Staci loved going to Tingley Christian Church and playing with her brothers. She looked forward to going to school,  being with her classmates and being in music class with her instructor, the late Joel Burkmeier. Staci especially liked Mickey Mouse and was thrilled when she was granted her wish from Make a Wish Foundation of Iowa to visit Disneyworld in l998.
    Staci is survived by her mother, Margaret (John) Patterson of Grimes, Iowa; her father, Richard (Shirl) Palmer of Tingley, Iowa; her brothers, Richie (Cassidy) of Callendar, Iowa and Dustin Palmer of Tingley, Iowa; niece, Cloey Palmer and nephew, Kellen Palmer, both of Callendar, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Roger (Barb) Palmer of Redmond, Oregon, Michael (Sherri) Phillips of Fresno, California, Jack (Tina) Phillips of Springfield, Missouri, James (Brenda) Phillips of Marshfield, Missouri, Jerry (Elanore) Phillips of Redding, California and Kim Sanchez of Fresno, California, and many cousins and friends.
    Staci was preceded in death by Grandma Mary Ashenhurst, Grandpa Mike Phillips, Grandma Pat Phillips, Granny Faye Bucknell, Uncle Bud Collier,  Aunt Bert Collier, Aunt Shelley Bolles, Aunt Norma Jean Nichols, Aunt Punkie Moody and Aunt Shirley Phillips.
    Services were held at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, with Rev. Eydie Stephens officiating.
    Musical selections included “Hymn of Promise,” “Uncloudy Day,” “Candle in the Wind” and “Go Rest High on that Mountain.”
    A memorial fund has been established to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa.
