ULA AGNES HAYS

    Ula Agnes Hays was born January 6, 1944 in Mount Ayr to Charles Wade Hampton and Cleo Helen Stringham. Ula attended Mount Ayr School. She was united in marriage to Orval Franklin Hays May 6, 1977. Ula worked many different places throughout the years at the Elm’s Club in Creston and most recently ran the Creston laundrymat for several years. She enjoyed meeting and talking with customers.
    Ula was preceded in death by her parents; husband Orval Hays; brother Buster Millsap; two nephews, Charlie Millsap and William Duff; neice Cindy Gruver.
    Left to cherish her memory is her sister Vera (Richard) Duff of Adel; sister in-law Elaine Millsap of Ravenwood, Missouri; nieces and nephews and friends.
    Memorials may made to the Creston Cancer Center where she was taking care of by the wonderful staff.
    Services were held Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr with Reverend Matthew Novotny officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr.
