Charlene was born July 2, 1959 in Portland, Oregon to William Junior and Jessie B. (Akers) Richman. She attended Grand Valley High School in Kellerton and later she went on to graduate from Southwest Community College in Creston receiving her Registered Nursing degree. Charlene had a heart of gold and touched everyone’s lives that she met. She loved crafting and shopping with her girls, getting pedicures and manicures. Some of her memories she often spoke of included spending time going to garage sales with her sisters and attending the infamous Richman family reunions listening to her siblings sing and laugh and have a good time. Her grandchildren were the center of her universe and she made a huge impact on them all. She dedicated her time attending as many sporting events and extra-curricular activities and family functions that time would allow. She never knew a stranger and would go out of her way to help anyone. She always included other families to be part of hers, which included many. She was always willing to give her advice in any situation and spent many hours helping others become successful in their dreams.
She was a member of Family Worship Center in Kellerton.
