The annual Raiderette Invitational is coming up next week with the first day on Wednesday, June 26 and the second day finishing up on Saturday, June 29.
The first game will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday and will feature Bedford versus Lenox. Game two will see Centerville face Wayne at 5 p.m. and game three will see Murray take on Martensdale-St. Marys at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday will close out with Orient-Macksburg and Mount Ayr facing off at 8 p.m.
The winners of those games will head to the winner’s bracket, whereas the losers will head over to the consolation bracket.
On Saturday, games will get started early, with game five beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the final game of the tournament starting at 7 p.m.
If the games do get ahead of schedule, the tournament will stay ahead of schedule and play will continue so be prepared to see your favorite teams play earlier than listed.
The top team will occupy the first base dugout as well.
The Raiderette field has been newly renovated with brand new spectator seating along with new dugouts for both home and visiting teams.
