The 2022 fair will run from Tuesday, July 12 through Sunday, July 17.
This year’s fair features a combination of old favorites with new attractions to draw visitors to the fairgrounds located on the north edge of Mount Ayr.
Besides the numerous livestocks shows, traditional events include the coronation of the fair queen and princess and Bill Riley Talent Show on Wednesday, July 13, the rodeo and mutton bustin’ on Thursday, a demo derby on Friday, and a truck and tractor pull on Saturday.
New attractions include the coronation of the rodeo queen and Princess Thursday and live music from John McCuddin and the Waymore’s Blues Band Saturday night.
Full details about the 2022 County Fair will appear in the Record-News in the coming weeks, culminating with the annual fair edition featuring exhibitors from the county’s 4-H clubs on Thursday, July 7.
In the meantime, information can be found on the official Ringgold County Fair web page located at http://www.ringgoldcountyfair.com.
