Friday night is the night everyone has been anticipating.
Homecoming week has been upon us and the Raiders will need to focus on Friday to take down the visiting Sidney Cowboys.
The Cowboys enter the contest with a record of 1-3, with their first victory coming against the Wayne Falcons, before falling to Southwest Valley, Earlham and Riverside.
Last season, the Raiders won the matchup by a score of 49-12.
The Cowboys like to run the ball, rushing 135 times for 418 yards and three touchdowns, while completing 25 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns.
The Cowboys have turned over the ball six times through the air, while picking off two passes.
Sophomore Andreas Buttry is the signal caller for the Cowboys, completing 25-of-44 passes for 235 yards, two touchdowns and six interceptions.
Buttry has found six receivers through the air.
His favorite receiver is Braedon Godfread who has caught 10 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
On the ground, the Cowboys have a host of runningbacks to keep an eye on, with four runners taking the ball at least 20 times.
Senior Jeramiah Ballan is the leading rusher, with 52 carries, 259 yards and one touchdown.
Defensively, the Cowboys are led by senior Nik Peters who has recorded 26.5 tackles total, while Ely VanRenan leads the team in sacks with two.
The game will kick-off this Friday in Mount Ayr at 7 p.m.
