Ringgold County Hospital, an affiliate of MercyOne, announces Nicholle Gilbertson will join as Chief Executive Officer beginning March 31. Gilbertson is joining Ringgold County Hospital from Fall River Health Services in Hot Springs, South Dakota, where she served as Chief Executive Officer.
“I look forward to building relationships with our team at Ringgold County Hospital and within the community of Mt. Ayr,” she said.
“We are very excited to welcome Nicholle,” said Mike Hopkins, chair of Ringgold County Hospital board of trustees. “Her passion for personalized, high-quality health care is visible in each interaction and we are excited to partner with her to continue serving our community with expert health care.”
Gilbertson is an alumnus of University of South Dakota where she earned an MS in Physical Therapy. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor for the university. Additionally, Gilbertson is active in both the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Rural Health Association.
Ringgold County Hospital is managed through an affiliation agreement with MercyOne. As part of the affiliation, MercyOne provides administrative support and additional resources to Ringgold County Hospital at the hospital’s request.
