Junior track standout Ryce Reynolds recently traveled to Lawrence, Kansas where he competed in the 100th anniversary of the Kansas Relays.
Reynolds competed in his top two events, the open 400 meter run and the 300 meter hurdles.
In Iowa, Reynolds competes in the 400 meter hurdles, however, Kansas knocks 100 meters off.
Reynolds competed against some of the best runners in the country, finishing third in the 400 meter with a time of 48.86, setting a new Mount Ayr school record, breaking his own record, set last year.
In the 300 meter hurdles, Reynolds finished ninth with a time of 40.28.
Reynolds looks to improve on his times this season to defend his Iowa State Track & Field championships in the 400 meter run and 400 meter hurdle events, later next month.
