Pride of Iowa Golf
Raiderettes
The Mount Ayr golf teams traveled to Walden Park in Corydon for the Pride of Iowa golf tournament on May 3.
The Raiderettes shot a 434 to place fourth overall, while Southwest Valley took first with a 375.

After golfing a full 18 holes, the Raiderettes had one All-POI golfer in Kamryn Willis who shot a 102 on the day to place 11th.
Mallory Weehler shot a 106, Olivia Huntington shot a 110, Linsie Barnes shot a 116 and Ayla Murphy shot a 149.
Raiders
The Raiders had a great day at Walden Park where they took home the Pride of Iowa Championship after shooting a 347 to beat out Nodaway Valley (365) and Bedford (366).

Drew Ehlen was runner-up on the day in individual scores, placing second in a five-way tie for first with an 82.
Tanner Streit also shot an 82 and took third.
Bedford’s Micah Johnson took top honors on the day with his 82, while Landon Klobnak of Nodaway Valley and Austin Ledlie of Southeast Warren shot an 82, rounding out the top five.
Jaxson Greene shot an 88 and placed ninth.
Dylan Graham shot a 95, as did Louden Main and Trevin Victor shot a 97 to close out the meet.
Lenox
The Mount Ayr golf teams have continued to find success throughout the season and last week’s May 4 meet against Lenox, was no different.
Raiders
Despite the Tigers not having enough members for a team score, the Raiders still golfed well, taking the first five spots.
Tanner Streit medaled in the meet, shooting a 36 overall, while Jaxson Greene has really come on late this season to take runner-up honors with a 42.
