The Raider golf team traveled to Crestwood Hills golf course on Monday, May 15 where they looked to compete for a State Tournament berth.
The Raiders ultimately came up short, by nine strokes.

Seth Hensley, of CAM, took the top spot in the meet, shooting a 72 on a PAR 71.
Leading the Raiders was Drew Ehlen and Jaxson Greene, both shooting at 82.
Dylan Graham shot an 86, while Tanner Streit sat at 87.
Louden Main shot a 94, while Trevin Victor shot a 95.
The season ended for the Raiders, but the young team looks to bring back plenty of talent next season, with Drew Ehlen the teams lone senior.

Sectional Golf
The Raider golf team hosted sectional golf on May 10.
The top two teams advanced to the next round, in which the Raiders took second behind Earlham by six strokes.
The Raiders scored 346, while the Cardinals scored 340.
Bedford placed third with 373, Griswold was fourth with 378, East Union was fifth with 420.
Earlham’s Ryan Stiles medaled on the day with a 76 after 18 holes and Griswolds Kamron Brownlee was runner-up with a 77.
Mount Ayr’s Drew Ehlen was third with an 83, while Jaxson Greene was fourth with 87.
Dylan Graham scored an 88, along with Tanner Streit and Louden Main scored a 91. Trevin Victor rounded things out for Mount Ayr with a 105.
Raiderettes
Regional Golf
The Raiderettes hosted the first round of regional golf on May 12 where they advanced to the second round after a second place finish behind Nodaway Valley.
The Raiderettes scored a 438, while the Wolverines scored a 433.
East Union scored a 466 to take third and Wayne placed fourth with a 481.
Sara Collins of East Union medaled with a 99 after 18 holes.
Mount Ayr’s Mallory Weehler shot a 103 to be runner-up.
Olivia Huntington scored a 108, while Alana Doolittle shot a 112.
Kamryn Willis shot a 115, Linsie Barnes shot a 117 and Ayla Murphy rounded out the day with a 153.
