Former Vice-President Mike Pence and his wife spent several hours in Ringgold County Friday afternoon. Pence is seeking the Republican nomination for president in 2024. Pence spent time in rAYR and visited with some of the local suppliers. He also found time to get a quick trim from Dick Simpson at Dick’s Barber Shop and helped members of the Ringgold County Cattlemen grill steak sandwiches for the crowd. Pence is the first presidential hopeful to visit Ringgold County during this primary season.
