Raiders runners-up at home golf tournament
The Mount Ayr boy’s golf team finished second at a three-team meet at home on Monday, April 15.
There, the Raiders scored 173 points, second to meet champion Wayne who won with a team score of 169.
The Falcons were led by the medalist and runner-up medalist finishers. Nash Buckingham was the medalist with a score of 38 and Jaedyn Schoolcraft was the runner-up medalist with a score of 40.
Mount Ayr was led by Tanner Streit and Avery Wolfe with scores of 42.
Streit shot four holes with par, one hole with one under par, and one with one over par. The third hole was bothersome for Streit and the whole Raider team at the meet. Wolfe shot five holes with par including holes 6-9. Other Mount Ayr scores were Dylan Graham 44, Jaxon Greene 45, Louden Main 46, and Trevin Victory 47.
