Diana Lynn Triggs
Diana Lynn Triggs, daughter of Marvin Arlo and Darlene Louise (Zweifel) Triggs, was born in Mount Ayr, Iowa on April 25, 1959. Diana would later help welcome into the family a brother, Kevin.
Diana grew up on the farm and enjoyed the farm life. She was active in 4-H showing Duroc & Spot pigs. In school, Diana was an active member of the concert band and jazz band, playing the alto saxophone. She was also a wrestling cheerleader. Diana graduated in the top 10% from Mount Ayr High School with the class of 1977. Diana went on to A.I.B. College in Des Moines, majoring in Court Reporting. She worked for a law firm for a short time before a long and rewarding career as a paralegal with the State of Iowa Public Defender Office, Appellate Courts. Diana retired in January 2022.
Diana developed a love of quilting. She quilted hundreds of pieces and all her family, and many extended friends, received handmade gifts over the years. Diana, and her friend Carolyn, had many adventures together traveling the United States. Diana visited 47 of the 50 states. Diana loved the Iowa State Cyclones. She enjoyed and excelled in cooking. She wasn’t one to measure ingredients and practiced many recipes on her family. She enjoyed her flowers and her mini garden. She loved her nephews and would help deliver pigs and other things as necessary. Diana lived life to the fullest and will be missed by her family and friends.
Diana passed away on October 17, 2024, after a short illness. She was preceded by her parents; grandparents John and Carrie Triggs and Fred and Thelma Zweifel.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother Kevin and wife Joan Triggs of Mount Ayr; nephews Johnathan and wife Rylee; and their daughter Radleigh of Milan, Illinois and Tyler and wife Keelyn Triggs, and their children Truett and Traitt, of Mount Ayr, Iowa; uncle Daryl and wife Phyllis Zweifel of Clarion, Iowa; aunt Vicky and husband Phil Montag of Dows, Iowa; other relatives and many good friends. Services 10:30 a.m. – Wednesday, October 23, 2024, Armstrong Funeral Home, Mount Ayr, Iowa.

I remember Diane she was in my cousin’s class Bruce Reynolds I graduated a year after in 1978.i wishy condolences to her family.RIP Diane
