The Mount Ayr Raider baseball team will open postseason play this Saturday, July 5 at Bedford against Sidney. Gametime is 5 p.m.
As of Tuesday, July 1, the Raiders will carry a record of 13-4 into the game against the 3-11-1 Cowboys.
The Cowboys have wins against Lenox, Hamburg, and Essex.
The winner of that contest will advance to the second round in District 14 against the winner of the Bedford-Riverside game that will be played immediately following the Raider-Cowboy game Saturday night.
