So how much rain did you get?
That’s a typical question any two residents of Ringgold County ask each other following another round of rainfall over the county this season.
As shown in the chart (above, below, etc.) from the RainDrop mobile application, so far in 2025 Mount Ayr has received 25.72 inches of rain, well above the year-to-date average of 20.07 inches.
In the past four months, the town picked up 3.14 inches in April, 4.63 inches in May, a whopping 11.68 inches in June, and 2.20 inches so far in July.
Obviously, rainfall totals can vary greatly from one location to another. Still, the data from RainDrop provides a clear indication of typical totals in the county this year.
