LAMONI, Iowa — Both Mount Ayr Middle School cross-country teams competed at last week’s Graceland Invitational as well.
On the girl’s side, Mount Ayr did not have enough runners to place as a team. However, they had two top-10 runners in the 19-runner field. Annie Larsen placed third in 15:10 and Kallie Larsen placed 7th in 16:03.
On the boy’s side, Mount Ayr did not have enough runners to place in the team race, but the Raiders did have four of the 19 boys running in the race. Adrian Catanzareti led Mount Ayr with a sixth place finish in 13:53. Joel Dolecheck was 9th in 14:53. Other Mount Ayr finishers were Warren Brooks 12th in 15:22 and Carter Sheil 15th in 16:28.
