Head coach Scott Giles enters his 25th season with the Mount Ayr Raider Golf team.
The Raiders finished 4-4 during their 2018 campaign, placing first in the conference.
The Raiders return all their golfers this season, with Myles Greene, Dalton Elwood and Cayden Lambert. New to the squad are Zach Doster and Isaac Grose.
“Weather will be a big factor early in the season depending if we can get outside and play or not,” said coach Giles. “We have some new faces in the boys program and I am looking for a successful season for both boys and girls teams.”
Last season the girls were undefeated with a 10-0 finish for first place in the conference.
Abbey Schafer is the lone loss to graduation for the Raiderettes as Elsie Schafer, Abbi Haley, Kylee Smith, Kaitlyn Dolecheck and Hallee Stewart return to attempt another undefeated season.
