Raiderettes take second in Truro, first in Creston

The Raiderettes went north to Truro for the I-35 Girls Relay.
Mount Ayr finished second with 108 points while Nodaway Valley took the meet win with 121 points.
Adalyn Reynolds showed her speed with a first place finish in the 100 meter dash in a time of 13.94 and a first place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.55.
Gracie Mobley finished first in the discus with a throw of 107-07 .
They Raiderette 4×200 team finished first with a time of 1:58.06 while the 4×400 team also saw a first place finish with a time of 4:36.36 to round out the first place finishers for Mount Ayr.
Creston Meet
The Raiderettes took another meet win in Creston Monday night, outscoring their opponents with 220 points, while second place sat at 117.
Addy Reynolds continues to prove her speed, winning the 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes once again. In the 100 meter dash, it was a photo finish, with Reynolds winning 13.15 to Faith Hardin of Clarinda Academy’s 13.16.
Jaycee Knight was ahead of the compeition in the 100 meter hurdles, winning by four tenths of a second, with a time of 18.05.
Gracie Mobley added another discus win to her name, throwing the discus 102-01.
MacKenie Shields finished first in the high jump with a height of 4-10 cleared.
Payten Lambert and Tiril Sjøberg finished 1-2 for the Raiderettes in the long jump with Lambert jumping 16-01.25 and Sjøberg jumping 14-06.25.
The Raiderette relay teams were on point as they won the 4×200, 4×400, shuttle hurdle and the sprint medley while finishing second in the 4×800 and the distance medley.
The Raiderettes will be in Leon tonight (Thursday, April 11) at 4:30 p.m. for the Guy Clark Relays.
