Clearview Home will be a stage for an opera singer in June. Samantha Hornback will hold a musical performance on Sunday, June 23 at 2:30 p.m. in the dining room at Clearview Home.
Samantha is a 2016 graduate of Simpson College and attended graduate school at Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland. She has been cast in her first role outside of school as Tytania in Benjamin Britten’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The production is a part of the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival.
This summer she will not only be performing in this opera, but also singing in outreach events, taking classes and lessons and learning from professionals in the industry.
Samantha is the daughter Cheri Keenan May, originally of Maloy, and the granddaughter of the late Lee and Sheryl Keenan. She will be performing for her great-uncle Fred Siverly at Clearview Home. The public is invited to attend.
