The Raiders ended their season with a loss to the eventual 2A State Champion Van Meter Bulldogs.
After a 14-6 record, the Raiders finished their season in third in the Pride of Iowa Conference.
Raider bats were led by Connor Eaton with a 0.409 average, 27 hits that saw 23 runs and five doubles. Eaton also enjoyed 26 stolen bases on 26 attempts.
Keelan Klommhaus led the home runs for Mount Ayr with four total.
Briar Knapp found second plenty this season with five doubles, tied for the team high. Knapp also putched this season, taking a 4-0 record with 30 innings pitched. Knapp allowed 15 runs on 20 hits for a 1.83 ERA.
In the field, the Raiders saw catcher Kolben Klommhaus lead with 100 put outs and 11 assists.
Isaac Grose had 66 put outs on 77 chances and boasted a 0.961 fielding percentage.
On the mound, Keelan Klommhaus saw six starts and a 5-0 record with 32.1 innings pitched, witha 0.87 ERA and seven runs on 13 hits allowed.
Isaac Grose also saw six start and a 2-3 record, 31.2 innings, while allowing 24 runs off 20 hits.
The Raiders lose one senior, Connor Eaton, who is running track at Southwest Iowa Community College this next track season.
