Coming off the best finish in school history, the Raiderettes put up some impressive numbers in a season that saw the first half of the schedule cancelled or rescheduled, going on to play 30 games in total which including an undefeated Pride of Iowa season, as well as Conference champions and third place state finishers.
Alexa Anderson led the Raiderette bats this season, averaging a 0.427 to lead the team, while also leading with 24 RBI and sharing the home run title with senior Caroline McAlexander with five each.
McAlexander closes out her Raiderette at-bat career leading the double category with nine and a 0.329 average. McAlexander was walked 19 times, but also knocked in 20 runs.
Addy Reynolds led the runs for Mount Ayr with 29 this season, also hitting two homers while leading the team in sacrifices with eight.
In the field, the Raiderettes saw catcher Abigail Barnes put out a team high 168 players while also catching four stealing on 12 attempts.
Halsie Barnes, first baseman, saw 167 put outs on 175 chances.
Sam Stewart was the next highest in put outs with 36 on 73 chances.
Caroline McAlexander had 164 assists and 10 put outs with one error in the field.
On the mound, McAlexander saw 131.2 innings, allowing 24 runs on 77 hits. McAlexander boasted a 1.06 ERA and struck out 126 batters, with opponents mustering a 0.150 batting average against the ace.
The Raiderettes lose one senior this year, Caroline McAlexander, who will be playing softball at Simpson College next year.
