RACHEL DOWNEY

Rachel Downey, 80, Grant City, MO passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019. She was born June 18, 1939 in St. Joseph, MO.
Rachel married Richard Miller July 1957. He preceded her in death in 1981. She later married Roger Downey on December 5, 1984. He preceded her in death January 29, 2009.
Rachel was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and also served as a full-time minster there for six years.
She enjoyed fishing, animals and riding motorcycles. Rachel was a loyal friend and loved her family and Jehovah very much.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ame and Alma (Poe) Branson and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include children, Rick Miller (Tammy), Tammy Booth (Kelly James); grandchildren, Eric Miller (Kelley), Ashton Miller, Alex Booth, Johnnie Veach (Lucas Still); great-grandchildren, Audrey Mae Miller and Isabella Lee Still; nephews, Mark Downey (Tamara) and Mike Downey.
