The Raiderettes ended their season with a 19-4 record, falling to Logan-Magnolia in the semi-final round of districts.
Throughout the season, the Raiderettes set records and saw a gutsy team pull off wins while trailing most of the game.
The Raiderettes will lose two seniors, Sam Stewart and Jaycee Knight, but will bring back experience as well as talent with the current underclassman varsity starters and junior varsity squad.
Sam Stewart joined the 1,000 point club this season as well as became the Raiderette basketball all-time scorer and broke the record for most points scored in a game with 45 points.
Stewart led the team in points, assists, and steals.
Knight scored 109 points on the season and accounted for 111 rebounds, 36 assists, 27 steals and 11 blocks.
“Jaycee did a lot of little things that don’t show in the stat book,” said coach Thad Streit. “She was a big part of this team and we will miss her.”
Rachel Sobotka led the team in rebounds with 155 but also was the third leading scorer on the team with 202 points, just behind Channler Henle who had 220.
Henle saw 113 rebounds, 53 assists and 41 steals along with leading the team in blocks with 15.
The Raiderettes will look to a new leader next year as they look for a State bid once more.
