The Raiders collected two more wins in a short week last week, defeating the Lenox Tigers and Southeast Warren Warhawks.
Mt. Ayr 65, Lenox 54
The Raiders utilized their speed last week against the Lenox Tigers but at one point allowed the Tigers to come very close that has become somewhat of a trademark of the Raiders this season.
Heading into halftime, Mount Ayr led Lenox by three, but after halftime, the Raiders put 20 on the board while allowing 10 to the Tigers.
The fourth quarter belonged to Lenox, however, it was not enough to overcome Mount Ayr.
The Raiders turned the ball over only 11 times and saw 13 steals and 38 rebounds.
Offensively, the Raiders shot a 42.1 percent from the field and saw 11-of-16 freethrows find their mark.
Jaixen Frost led the Raider scoring with 29 points, nine of which came from beyond the arc.
The Tigers were led by Samson Adams who scored 14, along with Keaton England who scored 13. The Tigers turned the ball over 18 times over and saw seven steals on the night.

Mt. Ayr 73, SEW 47
The Raiders put on a show infront of their first home crowd of the season, defeating the Southeast Warren Warhawks 73-47 last Friday night, but that show didn’t come until the second half.
The Warhawks came out strong and scored 17 to Mount Ayr’s 11 after the inaugural eight minutes of the game.
The Raiders were able to come out of the quarter break and put up 18, while allowing 10 to bring things a little closer with Mount Ayr taking the lead into halftime 29-27.
It was the second-half that the Raiders found their groove.
Scoring 44 points, while only allowing 20, the Raiders saw Braydon Pierson lead the team in scoring with 25, while Frost scored 24.
Riley Stark rounded out the double digit scorers with 10 points.
As a team, the Raiders only turned the ball over six times while recording 21 steals throughout the night.
