Search warrant results in arrests

On Thursday July 14, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office assisted by Iowa State Patrol executed a search warrant at 304 South Douglas in Mount Ayr,, a rental home owned by Rodney, David, and Don Zollman.
Several firearms were seized from the property as well as narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
The following individuals have been arrested and charges have been filed:
• Veron Thomas Nellis – Dominion/Control of Firearm/Offensive Weapon by Felon and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Cash only bond was set at $5,300.
• Angela Rae Fessler – Dominion/Control of Firearm/Offensive Weapon by Felon, Aiding & Abetting, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Cash only bond was set at $5,000.
• Norman Lee Fessler – Possession of Controlled Substance- Marijuana 1st offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Any potential criminal charges identified above are merely allegations and any defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
