JERRY LEE CLARK
Jerry Lee Clark was born February 21, 1955 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr to Louisa Lucille (Warner) and Roy Edward Clark. Jerry was educated in Mount Ayr Community Schools.
On May 3, 1975 Jerry was united in marriage to Nancy Jane Morse. To this union three children were born Angela, Gary and Kevin. Jerry worked for Ringgold County as a brush cutter for a few years and later for REC in Mount Ayr. They raised their family in Diagonal before moving to Creston in recent years where he currently resided.
Jerry passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Creston Specialty Care at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Clark; sister, Betty Johnson; half-brother, Jamie Clark; brothers-in-law, Marvin Morse, Franklin Leroy Morse, Ronald Roach, Richard Hall and Dan King; sister-in-law, Patricia Clark.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Nancy Clark; daughter, Angela (Jim) Stivers of Cabot, AR; two sons, Gary (Jean) Clark of Creston and Kevin (special friend, Karina) Clark of Lenox; grandchildren, Paige, James and Dakota; great-grandchildren, Jaelin and Kali; siblings, Juanita (Junior) Adams, Robert Clark and Steve (Barb) Clark; step-father, Darrell Mercer; step-brother, Robert (Louisa) Mercer; step-sisters, Patty (Mike) Rowe and Diane (Ron) Stephenson; brothers-in-law, Ronald Morse, Ricky Morse and Dan Johnson; sisters-in-law, Ruby King, Julia Roach and Bonnie (Frank) Baker; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Armstrong Funeral Home in
Mount Ayr, IA.
Officiating was Pastor Matthew Novotny.
Songs were “The Old Rugged Cross”, “Amazing Grace” and “Angels Among Us”.
Active casketbearers were Steve Clark, Andy Clark, Frank Baker, Joseph Fry, Don Zollman and Don Miller.
Burial was at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr, IA.
