Obituary – James Nichols

James “Jim” Arthur Nichols, 85, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on October 14, 2026. He was born on April 21, 1941, in Estherville, Iowa, to parents, the late Ralph W. and Lillian D. (Tirevold) Nichols. Jim married the love of his life, Denise (Kloster) on August 24, 1962, in Mallard, Iowa. They enjoyed a wonderful 64 years of marriage together before his passing.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Denise Nichols; children, Kristina Nichols Fosnaugh, Robert Nichols, Douglas Nichols and Michael Nichols; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and brother Don Nichols.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph W. and Lillian D. Nichols.
Visitation for Jim will be from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield, IN 46062, with a funeral service immediately following at 12:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.
